Your association is the organization that collects your information. Arbitres Baseball is the service provider that hosts and processes it on their behalf.
Officials who are minors are registered by their association, with the consent of a parent or guardian; the app offers no direct sign-up form.
This information is collected when you or your association enter it into the app:
Within your association, the coordinator can access all of your information. Other officials see your name and your assignments; your date of birth, member number and certification expiry dates are reserved for you and your association's coordinators. No other association has access.
Arbitres Baseball, as operator, may access it to administer and support the service. Our technical providers — hosting, email delivery, protecting the public form from bots — access it only as needed to provide the service. The one exception: the content of confidential reports can be read only by your association's coordinators, not by the operator, and the author of a report is not recorded anywhere.
Your information is hosted and processed outside Quebec, including in the United States. It is therefore subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, which may allow authorities to access it under conditions different from those in Quebec.
Your information is kept for as long as your association uses the service, except for the following, which is deleted automatically: IP addresses from the public form after 24 hours, the email log after 90 days, the change log after 2 years, action links received by email 30 days after they expire, declined sign-up requests and unaccepted invitations after 12 months, and incident reports and confidential reports 3 years after they are closed. To ask for your information to be removed, contact your association's coordinator.
You may request access to your information, its correction, and withdraw your consent. Some of it can be changed directly from your profile once signed in, and you can download a copy of your information there (an archive of CSV files).
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.
The app uses no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no identification, location or profiling features. Your browser's local storage keeps you signed in, remembers your display preferences and, for officials, keeps a copy of their schedule that can be viewed offline — a copy specific to your account on that device.
